I don't need an onboard slicing engine since I mainly send the gcode files directly to the printer.ĮDIT: I set up wifi directly on the printer and it works pretty well. However, I realize that there's already wifi on the printer (and mine came with updated firmware so it's already enabled), and was wondering if I should set it up with Repetier instead so I can use the pi for something else. I set my printer up with Octoprint on a raspberry pi, which works very nicely and was effortless to set up.
